Q: I like mystery/suspense/thrillers . . . have read everything by Stuart Woods and also like Mary Higgins Clark & Sue Grafton. Are there other authors who write similar style books that you could recommend? Perhaps people who also write series of books with the same characters? Thanks! P.S. I'm definitely not looking for young adult fiction (though I used to really like it when I was a young adult ;)
A: Agatha Christie is terrific, and the William Monk books by Anne Perry. They're both British writers. Perry's are period pieces set about 150 years ago. They're very well written. And Christie is just awesome. My fav is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
