Moving Swap File to a Different Drive

I work with Win98se and would like to permanently move my swap file to

another physical drive. I have read various posts on the web about

this and have tried to do it but Windows continues to insist it be on

C:.

I believe this is the solution to slow and balky mouse response. When

I go into the performance adjustments in properties and change the

swap to another drive there is an instantaneous improvement in

response. It lasts only a few minutes and when I go back to the

performance window Windows has returned to its default, 'let windows

manage virtual memory' setting. I have tired to do it and immediately

reboot, no difference.
