What is the over-the-counter (non-prescription) availability of birth
control pills in individual South American countries? I'm not
interested in details such as cost, brands available, or countries
where "the pill" is available by prescription – only where it's
possible to purchase it direct from a pharmacy, as it is possible to
do in Mexico, for example. Please breakdown availability by country,
or region where appropriate.

So do you just want a list of SA countries that allow OTC purchase of
birth control pills?
Clarification of Question bylaughtears-ga
Yes, a list of O-T-C BCP availability in SA – amplified, if possible,
by available details like which pills are on offer (Ortho Tri-Cyclen,
etc) and if they are only available in the capital or in certain
regions of the country. No need to worry about Suminame or the
Guianas. Thanks very much.
